In the early spring 2015 a group of young people bought an old apple farm, which has been running since 1938.

We are eager to bring new life to the farm and the community. We have reestablished the old apple press and started a production of apple cider and hard cider.

We run 7 different individual productions at the farm: Cider, hard cider, milk, vegetables, vegetable seeds, and carpentry. The farm includes a 4000 m2 market garden, an apple orchard and beehives.

Our interests covers everything from traditional, as well as new farming methods, organization theory, seed saving, self sufficiency and much more.

Learning opportunities:
We are interested in new small scale production methods, and are especially focusing on organising modern small scale farms based on the cooperative movement that historically has shaped danish agriculture.

On the farm, during the season, you will experience the combination of old and new methods, such as hand-milking cows (making cheese and yoghurt), picking apples by hand, juicing on an apple press from 1945, polytunnel production, gardening with two-wheel tractor, holistic grazing and much more.

We are also collaborating with a local danish folk high school (a special kind of creative school for students at all ages). The course we take part in are called "the little farm". Students aged 25-45y stay at small local farms for 5 months, learning about farmlife and how to organise collaborative around small diverse productions that favors biodiversity, soil health, shared ownership etc. At our farm we host 2 students until august 18. It means that we are eager to educate, share knowledge and to host people who are curious on small scale farming.
