The house is a 16th century manor house and out-buildings which we have been repairing for the last 35 years, using traditional and mainly recycled materials. We have wood, metal, pottery/ casting workshops, marbling/art studio,42inch HP printer,50 foot music/sewing loft, megga swings and zip wire, even a sound and vision space rocket to escape in.!!!. Help needed for the following; setting up veg garden, building restoration, stone and lime work, tree work, woodwork, metal work, help with general household duties and cooking would also be appreciated. Accommodation is in the house, which is historically original, but with all the modern conveniences. (various tents are available for those who want to be closer to nature.)Internet available.
One of the main goals here is to promote the use of lime in the repair of old buildings and the rather daunting task of getting new buildings to change over to natures best environmental building material! We are also re-use/upcycle masters of all waste materials and finding solutions to the plastic problem in the world is top of the list. Any one interested?
