Hi there !

### RIGHT NOW ###
We are looking for someone who can help with the boat for a month (July 15th - August 15th) : working with customers / cooking / cleaning / and fixing up the boat (wood / electricity / mechanical)

We are also looking for people who could help with the haul out in Grenada.
Sailing from Martinique down south to Grenada and sanding / painting / varnishing / sealing etc... for two weeks.

--- --- --- --- --- ---

We are a nice family with Maya 4 years old & Titouan 1 year old living on a beautiful old gaffer from 1924 in Saint Barth & Martinique, West Indies.
We love playing music (we play gipsy jazz with violin & ukulele), people, kitesurfing (we are teachers), hiking, diving (thomas is teacher), the sun, the ocean, and the good lifestyle of living on a boat!
However our stunning ship (first price of elegance at Antigua Regatta) requires A LOT of care, all the time, and we can't handle the job just by ourselves.
Before being parents we traveled the world helping some people building their life-project. It is now time for us to give money back!
In a perfect world we are looking forepeople who can sail and have Skills in Mechanics, plumbing, electricity, woodworking, media network... And help with the little Maya & Titouan is more than appreciated!

To maintain Samsara properly we have set up a little business with her. have a look on our website : www.samsara1924.com

We can't host families. There are only two cabins, and one is for us.
We can't neither have more than one couple onboard. (hauling out is the only exception)
And definitively we can't have long time people when we are on the "business mode".

Yes you will sail with us but we don't go out every day.

If you send us an email, it is because you are motivated by a win win relationship : helping us out and discovering life at sea in the Caribbean. YOU CAN'T BE AN EXTRA LOAD OF WORK FOR US.
the work on the boat is difficult but rewarding.
We ask usually for a 5 hours/day of help on the boat. It can happen (due to the weather conditions quite often) that the schedule changes. Then you might have to hurry up and to help extra hours on one project to make sure it will be finish before the night comes for exemple.

Because of the kids Audrey tries not to stay onboard for short term periods. If that happens, you will sleep by yourselves on the boat. we will explain everything to you obviously. In that case we ask you a bit more help as you are the guardians of Samsara.like 6 to 7 hours of help.

Also when you live in and leave the place, the boat MUST BE clean and tidy. Thank you for empty the bin - to wash the dishes right after eating and to clean everything as if it would be a room you have rented and on which you have a caution.

You will live with our family. So breakfast is early in the morning as the kids wake us up early ! We love you sharing tricks & tips with the kids. If you speak another language that is even better so they can learn with you.
But THANK YOU for your educational point of view, we do not need it.
Also smokers are welcome to smoke not in front of the kids.
Marijuana is obviously forbidden onboard.

Meals include vegetable & fruits / cereals and a few meat and fish, but not everyday.
Soft Alcohol & extras are on your own.

We like you having good initiatives. We love learning from you. Please if you feel like learning on how to make better seals, share you knowledge !

Welcome onboard Samsara1924 !

Note :
THANK YOU FOR ALL THE MESSAGES.
I am so sorry I can't answer all !
There are too many.
