This is an ongoing renovation project and tourism business situated between Tongariro and Whanganui National Parks. We have 14 guest rooms and can accommodate up to 40 guests.

The owner is a busy Mum of two who lives on a farm over an hour away so the day to day running of the Lodge is down to the Host, that will meet and greet you if the owner isn't there. We are a relaxed bunch, friendly, hospitable and we love welcoming people to our corner of the world.

Our 5 acre setting is private and peaceful, yet we are just a 10 minute walk to a couple of shops and a cafe.

We are looking for 1 - 2 hardworking, self-motivated and enthusiastic volunteers to cook, clean, plaster, paint, garden, cover reception duties, look after our pet goat and miniature horse, and above all deliver outstanding customer service to our fabulous customers.

Your accommodation is in our "Hobbit Cottage' which has it's own kitchenette, shower/toilet and magnificent views of Mt Ruapehu. We also provide breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you are interested, please phone or email. Due to the time it takes to train we ask for a minimum 4 week commitment.
