** Thank you all for your enquiries. We are not needing any helpers at the moment. Safe travels!

Welcome to Hokitika and the Wild West Coast!
We offer free accommodation and breakfast in our warm, spacious home set amongst landscaped gardens, terraced ponds with views of the Tasman Sea. Free WiFi and Sky TV included and you can help yourself to our organic fruit and vegetables from our glasshouse and gardens. In exchange we ask for 4 hours help per day mainly gardening, painting, clearing bush, pruning, cleaning and general maintenance of the property. You will be staying in our converted double garage attached to the house that is warm, spacious and sunny. It has a lounge suite, dining table and basic kitchen facilities (fridge, freezer, microwave, sink, tea and coffee making facilities) with a shared bathroom. We are a friendly family of 4 (2 and 4 year old) who have travelled extensively and enjoy experiencing new cultures and people. Own transport is preferred as we are 10 minutes drive north of Hokitika. There are many interesting sites on the property and within walking distance including our own glow worm dell, historic gold diggings, beach access, cycle trails and historic walkways.
We look forward to meeting you soon!
Natasha and Shaun
