Beautiful property in hilly forest area surrounded by a small river on two sides provides swimming holes and fishing (Victorian Fishing License is required). Many opportunities to assist in building new duck and geese pens, renovating a granny flat, fencing repairs, putting in new fences, concreting, making and filling gabion rock walls, gardening, paddock maintenance, wood collection, wood splitting, some housework and assisting with our animals. We have alpacas, goats, sheep, geese, ducks, chickens, guinea fowls and quails so plenty of animal care to do. We also have a pet dog and indoor cat.

Lots of native wildlife to enjoy, wallabies, koalas, possums, echidnas, kookaburras, wild ducks and many other native birds, with some great bush walks.

Your accommodation will either be a 1970's Leyland bus converted to a motor home, with a full kitchen, lounge area and queen size bed OR in the fully furnished three bedroom cottage.

All meals will be with the family in the main house.

We are 8km from the local shops and train station in Ballan and are happy to pick you up and drop you off at the train station so you can explore Melbourne (55 minutes) or Ballarat (30 minutes) on the weekends.

We have no mobile phone service at the main house, bus or cottage but a short walk to the top of the hill will give you your service provider access. We have WiFi access at the main house you may use but it is not available in the bus or the cottage.

We are happy to take you to local events such as the Speedway, Markets and Festivals as we love sharing our lifestyle with others. We are also happy to take you to the Ballarat Wildlife Park or Sovereign Hill in Ballarat but you are expected to pay your own entry fees.
