We need help during the spring and summer with garden work and a bit of renovating. We'd like you to stay with us for 1 or 2 weeks and we'll provide meals in return for 4 or 5 hours work a day.

We'll need help with getting wood cut for the winter months, walking the dog, some gardening and grass cutting (don't worry, it's not a jungle!), maybe some cooking but helping Phil with some work on the renovations would be wonderful. We have to face the house with stone and may need some help with mixing the lime/sand mortar and carrying stuff.

We also grow veggies and hope to plant flowers and hedging. We have hens, a lovely lurcher and an old cat. Accommodation will be in a comfortable small caravan on site but meals, hot showers etc will all be taken in the house. We are quite adaptable so can caters for vegetarians and you won't be totally cut off from the world as we have bikes, telephone and wifi. The property is quite rural in a gorgeous part of France with lots of walks and lakes for swimming, fishing and canoeing on our doorstep.
