Ooraminna Station Homestead is a private property on 600 acres and home to a unique venue nestled in escarpments on the edge of the Simpson desert. We run an event centre and B&B with dining room all set around a movie set built by Ted Egan to film "The Drovers Boy."

We are located only 30km out of Alice Springs along 19km of dirt road but the tranquility and peace here make it feel like you are truly in the middle of nowhere.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, person or couple to help out for a minimum of 2 weeks, longer would be ideal!

We are able to pick you up from Alice Springs if you do not have transport.

Would suit travelling couple with camper as we have a campground with amenities block. Otherwise we do have staff accommodation.

We have extensive bush gardens and land maintenance requirements. Water to check, pets and animals to feed (horses, dogs, goats, calves, chookies, ducks etc). Handimen always welcome as there are many buildings requiring constant maintenance.

There is also domestic work assisting with the cabins and guests.

We also have 3 young children and a live in governess.

Please call to discuss any more details or have a loon on our website : .

Start Immediate.
