Juliet and I moved to this lovely little community on the Sunshine Coast hinterland in February 2017.Mooloolah valley is a beautiful lush place to live and visit;close to the mountains and beach.Mooloolah Valley has a train and bus station.

We have already established organic gardens, chook shed and the beginnings of an orchards with the help of HelpX people/ friends. Our bee shed is complete and functioning just landscaping to complete and always garden work to do.We hope to turn our new home into a self sufficient oasis. There are lots room for all and plenty of projects to help with both in and out doors.
We have made great progress on the veggie gardens
I always have work related to my native stingless bees, I need assistance with. You can learn all there is about our little national treasures and taste the best bush tucker, their honey if you like.I keep 5 varieties of Australian native stingless bees and base my environmentally friendly business from home. I may also need help with making, painting boxes, and general stingless bee care. I am happy to teach you what I know about stingless bees and the great work they do in gardens and the environment.
You will have your own room , bathroom and WiFi
Juliet is a yoga teacher / editor.
We have rainforest walks just the around the corner, our own pool, close to train station, short bus ride to beach, bike ride to beautiful Ewan Maddock dam. Short drive to Australia zoo (Steve Erwin) Our views are of green paddocks with a lot of horses and cattle surrounded by forest full of birds. We are both well travelled in and outside Australia and love to share our home, cooking /culture and exchange with others.
I also teach didgeridoo.
You would be expected to work at least 4 hours per day for meals and accommodation,5 days per week.
