Sunny skies, glorious weather and nearby swimming holes in rainforest creeks are waiting for you. Help needed now. Kadanji Cottage needs a travelling pair or a couple with own vehicle. We would also consider a solo traveller if you don`t mind working alone some days.
The property is just over two hectares (five acres) in tropical North Queensland near Kuranda, 45 minutes from Cairns, with one third dedicated to a beautiful tropical landscaped garden. The balance is natural bushland with a dam, native wildlife including wallabies, a huge range of bird life and frogs. There are also chickens, a veggie garden and a variety of tropical fruit trees.
My name is Jeanette and I really enjoy meeting interesting, easy going people who share my love of life, laughter and good food and discovering all the wonders of this tropical wonderland. While here as my guests you are treated as family and most stays are one to two weeks.
This self contained homestay is perfect for you if you love gardening, have an appreciation of nature and can help maintain this little piece of paradise. Your work includes gardening, cleaning a bit of home maintenance, landscaping and gardening (it`s a big garden).

This self contained cottage has lovely comfortable rooms featuring a queen size bed with the capacity to house two singles in separate rooms.

No smokers or drug users please.

The property is close to natural swimming holes at Clohesy River, Davies Creek and Emerald Creek and national parks and is only 45 minutes from Cairns. I encourage you to take time out to explore these!

Helpers must not be afraid of hard work as gardening in the tropics can be challenging at times and I really need help, particularly following a good wet season. However, you are not expected to work in the heat of the day.

Own transport preferred as the cottage is 15 mins from Kuranda - however, can pick up helpers from Cairns during the week or from Kuranda on weekends.
