We're searching for a kind, honest, and energetic duo -friends or couple, over the age of 21, please.
We're looking for non-smokers, who have experience with children and animals, who are keen to cook, garden (pruning, weeding, planting, etc.), do housework, light building/construction, painting, and other various DIY projects around our 100+ year old property. You'll work approximately 4 hours per day (depends on our agreement before your arrival), in exchange for your own warm, private accommodation in our adjacent rental property- the charming, self-contained Seafarers Cottage, as well as good conversation, food for breakfast and dinner, endless toddler, baby, and pet entertainment, and access to our fishing rods, bicycles, and kayak for your day adventures.

You must love animals and children, as we have a toddler, a baby, a cat, a puppy, and live across from a playground, which overlooks the Otago Harbour.

-We are located in the heart of Portobello, with just a two minute walk to a well-stocked store, restaurants, cafes, bar, museum, etc.
-Gorgeous views of the water, hills, and playground
-Short drive to all the beaches, penguins, seals, sea lions, Albatross Colony, walking/hiking trails
-Local bus service
-Unlimited wifi
-Use of bicycles, kayak and fishing rods

Ideally, we'd like help between the hours of 8.30am to 1.00pm, although we're happy for you to work more one day if you're wanting to take a day off.

We're flexible with the length of stay, though it will depend on whether or not we have holiday rental bookings for the cottage.

Local bus service provides regular transportation to and from Dunedin City, and much is within walking distance from our cottage, but having your own transportation is necessary, as we hope you take advantage of all the glorious sites the Peninsula has to offer, most of which is free!

Please contact us if this is something you might be interested in. We'd also appreciate a bit of background information (experience, etc) included in your email.

We're a great family who would love to meet you if you're up for a rewarding experience!

Thanks so much, and we look forward to hearing from you soon!

Jamie, Joe, Elliott & Emmett
