What you need to know...

We are a backpacker hostel, a magical place full of great friends, we offer a very lively atmosphere, and excellent facilities.

We are currently looking for volunteers to give us a hand on different positions in the tour management, crawl management, Frontdesk, Housekeeping, Receptionistm, Office Clerk and General Helper. Most Management and Sales positions are paid jobs, as an employment benefit, it include free housing, free food, gym access with unlimited tanning, unlimited hydro bed massages, 50 workout machines to ensure that you can do your entire body, and access to our heated indoor swimming pool. All of this, in most cases, in exchange for a few hours a day of your help, we have a great deal that will be the perfect complement to your stay in Montreal.

The best location a block away from Mont-Royale most touristic area within a walking distance to all major attractions, night life and interesting spots, 30 min from the historical center, with a very good transport network just across the street.

Our place is close to subway/Metro, local distilleries, Park Mont-Royal and Park La Fontaine, the gay village and downtown as well as several fine restaurants such as Restaurant L'Avenue, SAQ, St-Viateur Bagel & Café, and Barraca Rhumerie & Tapas. Just behind our building we have a grocery store that features an extended services hours (open until midnight) and a few blocks eastbound on Mont-Royal Avenue, is another large surface grocery store which is open 24 hours. The area is peaceful and low crime. We are pet friendly, gay friendly and open year round.

You'll never be bored,
Hundreds of things to do & explore in your spare time...

You'll never get borded in our hostel because we are very busy year round. You can also check out our festival page and you'll see tha tthe city is busy too, year round. but here are some highlights of suggestions made by others regarding montreal.

**Old Montréal contains the vast majority of historical buildings, most dating from the 17th - 19th century, and many museums. At night several of the buildings are beautifully lit up so consider taking a look both during the day AND at night!

**Le Plateau combines scenic residential streets with hip shopping and dining! A beautiful area that captures the hearts of many in Montreal.

**Climb Mont Royal! A mount located in the heart of Montreal is an amazing green space with a beautiful city view at the top!

**A booming downtown with Skyscrapers, McGill University, Churches, and Museums! Also check out our 30 km underground city of arcades and malls, allowing comfortable walking and shopping when the weather is foul.

**Parc Jean-Drapeau, site of the 1967 World's Fair, now devoted to green spaces, a large outdoor concert venue, the Gilles Villeneuve racing circuit, home of the Montreal Formula 1 Grand Prix, an artificial beach, a huge outdoor pool complex, and the Montreal Casino!

**Check out Olympic Stadium, alongside the Insectarium, Jardin Botanique, and Biodôme : )

**Montreal is renowned for its beautiful street art. Wander along Saint Laurent Boulevard between Sherbrooke and Laurier metros to catch glimpses of some of these impressive murals. You can also use Graffmap on your smartphone to help discover murals beyond Saint Laurent Boulevard while at the same time exploring new areas of the city.

Enjoy the beautiful Parks and Laissez-faire atmosphere of Montrealers! À bientôt!
