We are a family with two young boys (6 and 4) living and working on a Sheep and Beef Station 1 hour South West of Auckland airport. As part of working here we get a house with a lovely garden and space for lambs (sometimes), cats, dogs, chickens and horses. We always welcome help with the children and various jobs around the place. The activities at home and on the farm varies depending on the season (cutting firewood, working the veggie patch, spring clean, gardening, etc) but there is ALWAYS two boys wanting adventure. We are building a tree hut, play with the animals and go for walks over the farm and in the bush. In the summer we go swimming and fishing on the black sand beach at Port Waikato. We go to Pukekohe town a couple of times a week for groceries and Kindergarten. Mum and boys speak Swedish as well as English. We traveled extensively before having children and enjoy sharing our piece of New Zealand with visitors. We can only accommodate Non-smokers. There is no public transport out here so you need your own vehicle. We can offer our guest room, meals and lots of different farm experiences. Looking forward to meet you and share cultural experiences!
