We live up the beautiful Kawhatau Valley in Mangaweka, near Taihape and 2 hours south of Taupo and 3 hours North of Wellington.

We manage an asparagus farm, however it is currently not in season. The season runs from October - February. The farm has the Kawhatau River running through it. We look over the ranges which have snow on in the winter months and which have various different walks and tramping you can do.

My husband and I both in our early 30s have two young boys, 1 1/2 and 4 months old.

We are looking to have up to 3 people stay with us for 2-3 nights. The house has a seperate end with two bedrooms with bathroom and small kitchenette available. (1 King Bed, 1 Queen Bed and 1 single) We could have a couple and friend or just a couple or up to 3 friends stay with us.

We would like anyone who is interested in helping with general jobs such as gardening, getting ready for the season jobs around the sheds. We have 100 cows on the farm, chickens and also Alpacas. This would suit anyone traveling further south as Mangaweka is a great stopping point between Taupo and Wellington.

It is a very scenic part of NZ and very relaxing, our closest town is Taihape which is 20minutes drive.

We look forward to hearing from you, if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
