I am currently renovating my home, a 1940's double brick bungalow house, originally built by my late grandfather and which I updated and extended in the mid1980's.
It is a large home with 3 bedrooms, well appointed kitchen with m/wave, wall oven, gas hot plates and own guest fridge, formal dining room, big family room with pool table and outdoor bbq and entertaining area with fire pit and pleasant gardens.
Ducted air conditioning for summer and wood fire in winter means comfort all year round.
The guest bedroom has queen size bed, b/i robes and a desk.
I enjoy cooking and creating good food experiences with friends and family. Expect gourmet charcoal bbq, homemade pizzas, lasagne, Thai dishes and fresh local seafood when available. And of course, South Aussie wines, especially big bold Barossa and Clare shiraz.
Whyalla is a modern, coastal city with fabulous beaches dotted along the Eyre Peninsula and amazing outback experiences of the Gawler Ranges within easy drive.
The Flinders Ranges is less than 2 hours driving and Clare and Barossa wine districts only a few hours away.
Jobs range from plastering, painting; internal and external, building retaining walls and general landscaping.
Small painting jobs can be done in a day, eg paint a few doors, to bigger jobs that will take several days or even weeks are available, which would allow time to explore the region with Whyalla as home base.
