Hello, I am Diane and this is my place!

I live on a peninsula situated the harbor of Tauranga where i grow non-organic flowers and foliage for the commercial flower industry. It is rewarding work, plenty of fresh air and nature.

I have 2 rooms available, with their own shared lounge (plus TV) and bathroom. It is a modern house, with unique styling, large open plan lounge and dining area. Plus 2 decks, one small deck and a large one that is kitted out with BBQ, lighting, power and great views.

There are plenty of public parks around, one right across the road, a large nature park with its own beach only 200m (220 yard) walk and another with a leisure wharf about 500m (550 yards) down the road.

About 2.5km (1.5 miles) away, at the start of the road there is an Asian fusion restaurant and pub which also has a small horse trekking business. The city of Tauranga is only about a 15km (9 mile) drive away, with the famous Mt Maunganui and its white sandy beaches and surf only a 25km (16 mile) drive away.

* WORK *
I have seasonal work available here most of the year. Most of the time there is plenty of work available - which means you can practically stay as long as you wish.
So feel free to email/txt/call me and i will let you know if there is some work available.

Work description: Harvesting flowers and foliage from plants by hand with secateurs. Sorting and grading the flowers and foliage by size and quality. Bunching and packaging the flowers and foliage for export. Planting out new crops. Crop maintenance (pruning plants, removing old crops and mowing) and other general orchard work.
