We are located in one Ireland's Premier tourist destinations, The Aran Islands. Inis Mor Island is also home to the world Heritage site of Dun Aonghasa.

This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture of the Island, the language, music, celtic heritage and nature.
We think this will be an enjoyable opportunity for someone looking to see the West Coast of Ireland, travelling on the Wild Atlantic Way and helps you to get to learn about the Aran islanders life style, as it is a very interesting island in terms of irish culture, celtic roots, crafts, nature. There is also the nightlife... traditional pubs with traditional Irish music, wide range of juices, smoothies, beers and wiskies, restaurants and so on. You'll definitely learn something - apart from improving your English hopefully volunteers and hosts have fun and hang out together and tend to learn lots from each other - how to cook weird dishes from each others countries, how to play guitar, how to draw, paint, etc etc etc.

We are looking for someone to help with housekeeping, some hours in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon and sometimes both. Help needed involves mostly housekeeping, (in the pods, communal kitchen and shower rooms and laundry). Other tasks include customer services such as; meeting and greeting guests, attending to ad-hoc enquiries, helping people with issues they may have on the campsite. It can be a bit meticulous job, especially in the pods. We work as a team so everybody helps and teaches each other, laugh and have some fun ;) We are looking for people with personality so your application should reflect this.

In exchange, you receive accommodation in a cosy and Modern, spacious room in a cosy apartment. Rooms have twin beds so you may be sharing with one other person. Shared lounge and cooking space. The Apartment is very clean and is beside the campsite. It is five minutes walk to the main village and is adjacent to Frenchman's Beach. All food is provided in the apartment and is just stocked in the shelves. Your time with us also includes free bike rental, free laundry, WI-FI etc. Often we have lunch together but not every day.
We are a camping so you can use all the facilities here!

If you would like to apply, please let us know when you think you would like to come, and also if you have any specific skills that might be useful - we're keeping an open mind.
If you are fun, friendly, hard-working and eager to meet new people? Are you outgoing, extroverted and keen to learn new things? If so, we want to hear from you!

All applicants should be over 22 years of age.

We generally ask for a month from volunteers.
The help is about 5 hours a day, 5 days per week (some weeks we may need you to help an extra day but you'll get the extra day off the next week if that happens, every 5 days helpers get 2 days off but this is arranged in a way that suits both, helper and host.
We can only take people with EU passports or valid work visas for Ireland (if you're from an non-Eu country can you confirm if you have one of these).

We prefer people travelling solo as we've found they socialize with the guests more - we do occasionally take pairs of friends but not couples I'm afraid.
No couples, individuals only.
