I have a new summerhouse aka tiny house of 28m2 and help is needed in the month of may and june to get my house fixed up and decorated and the garden restructured and redesigned. I really need people that have knowledge on gardening and renovating of any kind.

The chores that need to be done are painting, carpentry experience with electricity and plumming is a plus. Examples of projects that are on the to do list: building a terrace deck, replacing tiles for shellpaths, outdoor tub, painting and designing the bedroom, removing building rubble, installing and designing shelves and storage place, installing a woodstove, inventory and organizing the gardenshed, making a garden design, and planning on plants, flowers and herbs en vegetable beds, pruning and general upkeep.

For some saturdays there is a communal work for two hours helping the park stay beautiful by doing light gardenwork.

There is plenty of space for your own creative input or projects that you deem fit for the compound.

The summerhouse is located at the northside of Amsterdam in a beautiful area called waterland and there is a good connection with public transport that brings you into the center of amsterdam in about 20min. With a bicycle it is approx the same. For people interested in tiny houses and permaculture this is a great place to stay

When you come to help you will stay/sleepover in my guestroom in my house.

Working hours are variable and flexible to be done as long as the work gets done but i think an average of 4 hours a day is reasonable. In exchange you get to live for free in the house including breakfast, basic amenities and for most night dinners when Im in the house. When im not around a will leave a few euro's so you can do some shopping yourself. We will plan the projects and days together, good chance ill be around to do projects together

From helpers I like to receive a profile with a photo of yourself and a reference if possible.Note: Because of the type of work, you must be physically and mentally healthy, handy and not afraid to get your hands dirty. The house is part of a communal park with other gardeners, so ou need to be quiet and respectful. No drugs and parties.

I have a reference from people from France, Uruguay and the UK that lived in another summerhouse before and had a great stay there.

Looking forward to hear from you! You can come stay asap
