Hi, we are Tom and Zaia Kendall. We are on the road to self sufficiency and generate our own cooking energy needs and most of our food needs. Please watch our videos on our kendallpermaculture.com website for more about us.

Our Permaculture Demonstration and education Site "Maungaraeeda" is located in a lush, tranquil valley in the Noosa Hinterland in Queensland and we run regular Permaculture courses here. We are looking for people who are keen to learn about Permaculture and willing to put in a bit extra. We are currently looking for volunteers who are keen to work hard and learn lots for a minimum of 4 weeks, and preferably for longer if it suits us all. You will learn a lot about Permaculture and Self Sufficiency during your stay with us: you will learn permaculture systems and principles on our farm from an accredited permaculture teacher in exchange for your time and labour. Accommodation is in a (self supplied) tent, but there is also space for your own bus or caravan.

Our facilities are basic. On weekends and at night time (dinner) you will need to cater for yourself in our camp kitchen, during the week we cater for breakfast and we take it in turns to cook lunch (we provide food).

In our immediate area are several health retreats and the Noosa trail network and in the wider area you will find lake Cootharaba, Noosa, Eumundi markets, Rainbow Beach & Fraser Island. We are regularly involved in community music and other projects. Please note that we eat and process meat and dairy from our own animals. We allow NO alcohol, drugs, smoking, chemicals or people under the influence on the property.

We hope to hear from you soon, please contact us via our online volunteer form at https://kendallpermaculture.com/wwoofers-volunteer-workers/. If you have any questions before applying, please email us.
