I only ask this because we have taken people on to train them in the past and found it takes weeks for them to adjust and then it is time to leave - it is boring here for someone who does not know how to work with a horse. It can also be dangerous for someone who doesn't know what they are doing.

Working family farm in rural North Yorkshire bordering the moor and large areas of forest, where we have horses and other farmyard animals. Help is required to work with the horses e.g mucking out, walker, grooming etc (only WITH experience) - but also to maintain the farm. We are self sufficient with a vegetable patch too so if you have green thumbs then that's a bonus.
We are situated near Helmsley, a small town with shops and pubs (and a bus system).

What we're looking for: hard working, outgoing people, who would be comfortable being left responsible for the horses for most of the day.

My apologies if I don't get back to you straight away- I'm pretty busy but I try to get back to everyone when I get the chance!
