Due to cancellation - Current vacancy for 1 female February/March 2018. Horse riding experience preferred.

Wyoming is a 27000 acre beef cattle and horse breeding station located in South West Queensland. The property is 47km east of Charleville (a larger outback town with all services), 750km west of Brisbane. Flights & Bus services daily, train twice a week.

Daily jobs will include feeding and handling of horses and dogs and general stationhand duties. A couple of times a week you will check cattle water and feed supplements and some light domestic duties. Depending on time of year and helpers experience other jobs may include: handling & riding horses, mustering & branding cattle, general station duties, some cleaning and cooking in the main house. The more experience with horses and large animals you have, the greater the experience you will have.

Preference is given to helpers with above average horse riding experience preferably having owned, done some competition level as it is the horse side of our business that we need most assistance with. It is best to stay 3-6 weeks minimum to get the real all round experience.
