On this land, which has a most spectacular view, we carved out the hill, built an earth sheltered home, created series of terraced organic gardens, planted over one thousand three hundred trees, converted pasture land into a forest/food garden and regenerated natural biodiversity which has resulted in a habitat and sanctuary for wildlife.

On our land we host workshops on; natural construction including superadobe and turf; organic gardening; natural regeneration; seed conservation; fermentation; and medicinal plants use including herbal remedies and essential oils.

We welcome volunteers who are genuinely interested to learn and use the knowledge and experience that they have gained in a way that is better for the planet and society as a whole. Think of your time here is as an internship.

What we can offer: Accomodation: Camp site with a view of rivers, forests and Melimoyu volcano. Please bring your own tent, sleeping bag and sleeping mats.

Kitchen/relaxing facilities: We have a communal cabin with kitchen and space for eating, relaxing, reading etc...It is an earth sheltered cabin surrounded by the nature of our land with views of the river, forests and Melimoyu volcano. Hummingbirds may stop by to have a look through the window.

We offer breakfast, which you can prepare and eat in the communal cabin, and a very nice lunch which will be prepared for you and served in the dining area of the main house.

Excursion opportunities: We are surrounded by great beauty which is largely undiscovered by travelers. We have another piece of land in a gorgeous valley nearby bordered by a glacier fed river which makes an ideal base for the exploration of glaciers, virgin forests, rivers and lakes.

Other local exploration opportunities include: Ice caves, natural hot springs, Quelat hanging glacier national park, Corcovado whale reserve/marine national park.

Working hours: 5 hours/5 days a week

Daily Chores may include: Chopping firewood. Cutting grass. Path maintenance. Help in the gardens. Light construction work.
