Hello All

We are a family of four. My wife, Louiza and I with our two children.

We have a small 20 hectare farm where we farm with Soay sheep (ancient breed that resembles to the wild mouflon sheep race). We also farm with wallabies. Apart from that we have large tracts of land with forests that need cutting and thinning out. Also we need to enclose more land with fencing and do some general renovation work on our farm.

We are aiming to have an eco friendly farm where visitors can come and stay for a few weeks. We are in the process of renovation our second farm house with natural materials and ecologically...not building with cement but chalk and sand, etc.

My wife has a beauty salon in town and spends her days there. I take care of the farm and try to advance by renovating and upgrading our farm. We sometimes just do not have the time for everything and a helping hand would be very much appreciated. I speak fluent English, German and Dutch. My wife is fluent in English and French. Although I do speak and understand French.

We need help in all spheres of daily it gardening, tree felling, renovation, building, helping out with the animals, vegetable garden. herbal / medicinal garden, etc......there is something for everyone!

We would also like to hear from people with experience in the following fields;
-Eco renovation /building
--bee farming
-snail farming
-Herbal / medicinal gardens
-Bio produce and gardening

In return we will receive you as part of our family and show you a bit of the region.

Huge farms leave a lot of CO2 footprints and that is what we are trying to prevent. We are looking into alternative farming methods like farming with Soay which are used for "eco-pāturage", creating forests and harvesting our own oak trees, etc. We do not use pesticides on our land and do not use fertilizer. Our forests are natural and pastures get cut once a year towards the end of summer to enable water birds to nest and insects and bees to flourish.

It would be ideal if you could speak English. French is not a must but it is definitely a plus!

If you like nature and animals you will have a great time here!

You can help us create an eco-friendly tourism spot in the heart of Burgundy!

Hope to hear from you!
