Nestled amongst rainforest, 300 metres from beach, 2 storey stone house, 3 bedroom. Currently i resident and 1 dog.
I work full time and need help with gardening, ride on mower for lawn mowing, painting and general clean up duties. This is a beautiful yet remote area, to look at where I am check out the Bloomfield Lodge site, do a video tour. A car would be necessary as there is not much public transport. Hitch hiking is unreliable.

There is no mobile phone, television or radio reception here. Internet and telephone by satellite, which is also unreliable.
So if you cannot handle isolation and living without your mobile phone or TV this is not the place for you.

Limited water supply, currently showering elsewhere.

Rooms have queen beds, ceiling fans, couple of single mattresses also available.

I have a ionic swimming pool, which is green, I have no time to maintain it.

having recently moved into the house, there is lots of things to do, but it is comfortable.
Nearby is Cedar Bay National Park, Bloomfield Falls, Black Mountain National Park, The World Heritage listed Daintree National Park is also nearby.

Cooktown is 75km north by road (the closest shopping), Cairns is 275km south by the Coast Road.

The climate here is two seasons, the wet and the dry. Usually warm dry winter, hot rainy summer, it is the tropics so we are influenced by monsoonal weather. During the wet season you can be isolated here due to flooding of roads and river crossings. Supplies are limited during the wet.

You can fly here to Bloomfield from Cairns, get her by bus or car, 4WD preferably.
Great fishing here, good base to visit lots of places.

Number of people is negotiable, as have upstairs mezzanine floor, so could accommodate family.
Depending on what work we negotiate, how many people to accomodate, food, some input may be required. Usually feel that 2 hours work for accomodation, 4 hours for food and bed, is acceptable for menial work. This is the common Wwoofa rates. Any specialist trade and your input would be less.

There is a local primary school here, approximately 10km away, but no secondary education locally. Nearest hotel for alcohol is 3/4 hours drive, and is expensive.

Lengths of stay negotiable.
