I am looking for helpers who are wanting to enjoy the beauty of the Soca Valley while helping me renovate my barn.

The work will involve assisting me pointing the walls, plastering, painting, tiling etc. You need to have no experience just a willingness to learn and I won't be expecting perfection.

If you want to learn about how to renovate a stone house this could be the helpex for you.

If you're staying with me, the other main task will be to prepare the evening meals - to give me more time to work. I normally let helpers decide what they want to prepare (within reason) and as I like almost anything this has worked out well for everyone.

I run Hemingway House B&B which is right in the centre of Kobarid which is in the heart of the picturesque Soca Valley...the river is short walk away and the town has many bars and restaurants.

Your accommodation would be in one the apartments.

To see pictures of the house please visit my

I'm flexible regarding when you, if you want to take off sunny days this will be my work will mainly be indoors.

I prefer to have couples or pairs of friends...but, do take single people if the fit is right.

So, if you are enthusiastic and happy and looking for a relaxed homestay with a bit of work thrown in please get in touch.
Thanks, Marie
