(Due to the corona virus only very long term volunteers please. You are provided with a separate house. My nearest neighbour is 2 KM away. Cost is 350 pesos a day per person)
I have an organic garden on a 20 hectare property in the state of Yucatan by the Gulf of Mexico near the beautiful fishing village of San Felipe. I have a degree in electrical engineering and I developed many ways to be self-sufficient. I cook solar-electric, with a rice cooker connected directly to 4 small solar panels and I also cook with a wood burning rocket stove. At "Hacienda Santa Maria" you can learn how to live in a civilized way on just a few dollars a day. I will show you how to mostly live off the Sun and how I build a beautiful concrete block house for about the price of a car using my invention "Horsy". Learn how to control weeds without chemicals, naturally fertilize the irrigation water and make any crop use significantly less water with "Rock culture" or even eliminate the need for watering with "banana trunks". +++ I live without a fridge and eat fresh food instead. At "The University of Santa Maria" you can learn everything you need to know to prosper, even during a major economic downturn. The ranch is very remote and only for people who enjoy nature and who are passionate about a quiet, self-sufficient minimalistic lifestyle. "Hacienda Santa Maria" is gay friendly. Work is 3 hours a day. I mostly need help with permaculture. The rest of the day you can relax, take siestas, swim in the cenote or go to the coast. Saturdays and Sundays off. You can use the weekend to explore the nearby nature reserves with flamingoes and crocodiles, visit the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, Uxmal and Mayapan or go to the colorful colonial towns of Valladolid and Merida. You get a luxury room with private toilet and a shower with hot water. If you come by taxi please bring the items in my last profile picture from AKI supermarket in Tizimin.

See you soon :-)
