We welcome you warmly to Plants for a Future - a resource and information centre for edible, medicinal and otherwise useful plants.

Set in a beautiful part of Cornwall near Lerryn, the 25 acre site is just a 5 minute walk away from a lovely creek where you can swim and enjoy the wildlife.

Help is needed April - October and is very varied... every helper will get a tour and explanation of the array of unusual plants.

A great opportunity to learn about unusual edible plants & gardening with perennial food plants / permaculture and forest garden plants... the gardens were planted over 20 years ago, so it's an amazing chance to see and taste well established versions of all kinds of exotic edible shrubs and trees.

You can choose where to pitch your tent among the trees and shrubs, and food is simple and vegan. The basic supplies of oats, rice and lentils are provided and the garden is full of exotic delights to make for lively meals! Work is normally 4+ hours a day in exchange for camping and facilities...

Please contact us via phone or email if you'd like to come... we really appreciate every helper, so thank you! :)
