We are a cultural institute located in the Central Andes of Peru, Huancayo, that seeks to develop the skills of Peruvian children, teenagers, and youth through English and fast reading to help them open a new path of opportunity and change their lives.

We are looking for volunteers with initiative and to work well with others, you will help us like teacher assistants for the English classes specifically in the speaking area according to the curriculum we have since there is usually a national teacher in the classroom that gives the classes.

We welcome university students or professionals with a teaching career.

The opportunity to know the Peruvian culture and learn Spanish.
You will have food 6 days a week 3 times a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner for free) and free accommodation too, in addition during the excursions with students you will be paid lunches as well because is a part of the work.

Another thing is to go in excursions with the students to visit cultural places as part of the learning process for them so it is a good opportunity to do tourism in the region.

Requirements: Be a native speaker of English.

You will have a free day to rest, although the work is only from Monday to Friday, Saturdays are only 3 hours or are days of excursions with the students.

The work is about 4 hours a day helping in the classes, and an additional 2 to 3 hours helping us to prepare teaching material for the students.

Huancayo offers different attractive and touristic places that you can visit like ruins of ancient cultures, artisan villages, the snow mountain Huaytapallana among other places to do trekking and hiking that you can do on your days off.

We hope to see you and join our team, share ideas and skills, develop our language together, English - Spanish and immerse yourself in the Peruvian culture!
