We are looking for helpers willing to help with showing the alpacas over the next few months. You will be part of the family and join in with everything we do. some shows involve travel and overnight stays. In December we will be in to the shearing season so help needed there too.

We run a small herd of 50 alpacas on a small farm. Shearing, halter training, helping with the animals and round the farm. Helping in the house with normal family life. We show the animals in the A&P shows around New Zealand we would love you to help us with that too. We have a mill which processes the alpaca fibre in to knitting yarn. Lots to learn in there how to card and spin the wool. Otorohanga is a small rural town of 2500 people close to the Waitomo Caves. in the North Island of New Zealand, closest city is Hamilton.

We have a small shop on the farm and when I have time I felt and knit product for the shop.

We have a single room available, share a bathroom and shower with our daughter Emily.

Pictures show Grant talking to Abby (the Alpaca) with the dogs. Star the Lab is scared of the alpacas and no where in sight,

Next picture me with one of our stud boys just awarded Supreme at the Morrinsville Show,

Me Grant and our local Mayor in the middle with "Buddy" the alpaca at the official opening of our mill,
