Anyone who wants to spend a holiday and learn about local culture in a beautiful and serenity setting starting from July 2019 onward
Our place is a small organic farming, guesthouse and cafe. We practice sustainable living. It located 30 km from central Chiangmai. This project is in early stage of establishment. Looking for innovative, practical, self-motivated volunteers. Please feel free to let us know your ability and interest which may help improve our farm.
We have a large garden area that is great for relaxing and sharing coffee/tea/juice with us! We are surrounded by mountains and rice fields.
Chiangmai itself has spectacular setting offering many natural attraction and things to do in your free time.
We follow our King's Bhumibol philosophy "Sufficiency Economy" -balance, stability and sustainability of economy/society/environment/culture
Looking for volunteer to help with many projects.
-Cob house building and bamboo huts (Mud/ wood/ bamboo/straw bale)
- Organic farming- making compost, chicken nursery, working in the rice field (depend on the season -plant/harvest)
- Art project
- Yoga and meditation
- Teaching english to local kids in the village
- Exchange traditional cooking - bread, pizza, local dishes
- organic products design and development
- Photography and blogger - capture stories and activities in the farm
We provide a simple/basic bamboo hut or if you prefer to sleep in a tent, there'r plenty of good camping spotted around the farm. We are at the early stage of our project and we want to contribute to local community so we ask volunteers to help us with the contribution/donation to cover the cost of farmstay.
Work hours is flexible for 3-4 hours a day. During your free time , you can take a rest, take a walk around, read, meditate or whatever. We have bicycle and motobike for you to explore the places nearby.
volunteers are encouraged to bring the following items:
Environmental friendly soap and shampoo
Sun hat, towel, flashlight, non chemical mosquito spray/insect repellant during the rainy season rain jacket and boots are very useful.
While stay in the farm, we ask you to refraining from smoking and not playing loud music after 10 p.m.
