We are Tibetan-Czech family with children (2 in 2019) building a Tibetan farm in Centre of Europe!

We do NOT have heating in guest rooms!
Please, WARM sleeping bag is MUST BRING in winter (sept-apr!!)

We can accomodate you in our living room, BUT it is our living room and kitchen, we use the room most of day and evenings.

When we moved in (2019), there were old storehouse and 2 more old buildings ready to pull down. We live in huge 100 years old house with many rooms where our visitors can stay and which we also need to make prettier.

We have dozens of plans for future. Hens, garden with vegetable, potatoes, fruit trees, forest, sheep, horses etc.

We plan to build a Tibetan chorten, mini Tibetan traditional houses in garden, wooden yurt, tee-pee,... organise Tibetan culture festivals, farmstay, Tibetan movie weekends etc..... maybe one miniature Potala Palace on the hill? Wow!

Sustainable life!
Huge permaculture garden and have animals.

Everybody is welcome to join, help, share, learn, teach and enjoy!

You can learn Czech, Tibetan, Chinese languages, learn Tibetan cooking. Have endless talks on Tibet, culture, religion etc.
Will tell you how to find peace in your heart and your place in this life and become happier person.

Where to find happiness?! It's actually very simple! Too sad our parents didnt knew!

One spoiler: manual work is the best meditation! Nobody will tell you this secret in western so-called buddhist monasteries ;)

We can play music together, games, cook, dance, enjoy, relax,....

Basically what you do when you move in old house:
cleaning the house, painting walls, preparing rooms, moving furniture...

Make outdoor dry wc, wooden cab.

2019 in general

Paint rooms - as wonderful as you wish! Rainbows, trees, mountains, sunrise or just uncover red bricks?

Storehouse, broken house - pile bricks, pile roof tiles, timbers etc. endless work... think of it as a MEDITATION and MINDFOCUSING excercise!

Garden - prepare land for next spring, grow trees and bushes. Plough land for potatoes and vegetable. Clean old greenhouse..

Cut wood for winter!
Bring wood from behind of the house and cut, pile under roof.
Cut bushes and trees behind house.

We welcome everybody, single, couples, families, groups! Animals with you.

Independent, able to finish own task or project. Able to carry wood from forests, bricks, stones.

We wish our visitors keep in mind there is only one mother nature here for us! Once we are here on this planet and living this live, we should think about what remains here after us, destroyed land or untouched forest?

We prefer sustainable lifestyle! Please share this idea with us!

Smoking is strictly forbidden, if you sleep in tent in garden, no smoking too! Its awkward to see cigarettes in grass in morning.

There is ONE BATHROOM in the huge house. Old, small. Water comes from old well in garden. Please SAVE WATER! Not just to save the planet, but also to save water for our garden, for everyone in house, for kids and for your own good feeling!

There is dry WC outside. We really do not use drinking water to flush our own sht ;)

There is dry wc INDOOR during winter too!

We love meeting people, we wish you can stay from 3-4 days to maximum 4 weeks.

We buy food and cook together if you are ok. We eat everything, cook everything, oftenly simple food,
trying to buy local and organic vegetable, meat and milk products. The price is little bit higher but your body will love you!

We hope you have similar lifestyle, you have similar values in your life! We have dry toilet inside the house, we cook barley, wheat and vegetables from garden, eggs from hens, we do not support big agriculture companies and shopping in supermarkets.

Languages spoken
Czech, Tibetan, English, Chinese, Japanese

Simple private rooms in big old house which you can clean and fix by yourself! Sleeping bags needed!

Your and our tents, sleeping bags,...

We cook simple food, sometimes traditional Tibetan food. Meat ok. Vegan ok.

There is dry toilet INSIDE during winter! Please eat healthy, dont use hormonal contraception, antibiotics etc. to make sure the mother land is not getting poison from us.

NO SMOKING ON OUR LAND!!!! HOUSE AND GARDEN! Really! This is one of basic rules!

Did you read until here? It means you are really interested about our place. When you send us message, please answer these questions:
1. How many bathrooms we have in the house?
2. Why do you choose us?
3. What kind of help/work do you enjoy or brings you happiness?

Getting around:
The house is 100m far from bus stop, buses take you to/from:
- USTI NAD ORLICI, where is TRAIN to/from Prague and everywhere in Czech.
- LITOMYSL, where is UNESCO heritage castle, beautiful square with many cosy caffes and shops.

ORLICKE mountains are around 30km far to north, with highest peaks around 1000meters. In mountains you can find even more quiet places than our garden, beautiful views and cheaper hotels and services than in the highest Czech mountain Krkonose (Giant mountains). It is easy to get here by buses and spend nice weekend. In winter there are many ski slopes and snb parks.

We dont have car now!!! So we cant pick you at the train station. We can meet at bus station tho :)
Czech has GREAT buses and trains networks. Trains take you to every town and buses to every village!

Czechs speak English in Prague, Czech everywhere else. If you come to train station and need to ask for help, use simple sentences and bodylanguage.
