This farm perfectly fits for those who love nature and wants to experiment what is living far from the city, on a local farm, into the mountains, in a secluded place with a sustainable living vision.

We are passionate about nature and animals, working to have a green forest, in the process of creating a sustainable living space by utilizing permaculture techniques, protecting the forest that surrounds us and helping nature to regenerate We are located in the Cloud-Rainy transitional forest with all the biodiversity can be enclosed here, on the central pacific range of mountains descending from Monteverde (widely appreciated for its biodiversity) to the coast.

After travelling during the last years, I am managing a farm who takes care of the biodiversity and designing a new forest inside the mountains of Central Pacific Coast in Costa Rica. We are creating a sustainable living space by utilizing permaculture techniques, protecting the forest that surrounds us and helping nature to regenerate itself while using renewable energy:).
We are building and helping nature to regenerate the forest while planting trees, our goal is to have a big forest in the near future! We want to be a non-profit organization (NPO) working for the environment.

Our project is about an ecological farm at the very beginning of its construction, we have basic living conditions as we are looking for a sustainable space while planting trees from the zone, on land previously used for livestock, now we are doing everything possible to help nature, building a new habitat for wildlife!
Our goal is to turn this land into a big forest, where we can live in a sustainable farm obtaining organic food from mother earth and generate responsible tourism in the zone.

There are beautiful landscapes in the property, where you can see all the Pacific coastline (From Golfo de Nicoya to Jacó Beach, including Puntarenas province and surrounding islands San Lucas, Caballo, Bejuco, Chira and Venado). A great place to practice yoga, meditation or introspection, to learn more about yourself as we have no neighbours or people living in this land in a permanent way (nearest neighbour is 2 km away).
There is no cable, TV, electricity (just 12v electrical system for other tasks) or even water (We have a WATER TANK and a SHOWER in the project, but you are responsible for the water you use, our water spring is located 1 km distance walking).
Our objective is to use exclusively renewable green energy in our energetic matrix, making our project energy auto-sufficient and helping to be environmentally sustainable. Actually, we have a 12v electrical system powered by WIND and SOLAR energies to charge any USB device, lighting and sound systems.
Cellphone network is available for KOLBI provider, so you can buy a sim card to have data connection and internet in this way, for your consideration. I recommend you to bring one SOLAR power cell, so you can have a camera or phone with you anytime as this is the homeland for a lot of insects, birds, mammals and anphibeos and you can see them anytime in your stay, be prepared!
Here, we have multicoloured butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, dragonflies, fireflies, grasshopper, and many other insects. From here you can see toucans and many kinds of birds, hear the monkeys (they are the real alarm in the mornings).
We installed some benches and hammocks in the property, in the night you can enjoy the wonderful sky with all its magnificent stars and constellations (especially in the summertime).
In the town (Sardinal, 7 km) you can find supermarkets and goods, then you can come back by taxi, horse or walking.
