I live on a 27 acre smallholding in south west Wales - have been here since January 2019. The farm was neglected for almost 40 years so there is a huge amount of infrastructure work to do. My intentions are to become as self sustaining as possible, producing my own milk, cheese, eggs, meat, vegetables..... The work I am currently focusing on is fencing, gates, re-establishing the polytunnel, tree cutting (and, later, re-planting) for timber, firewood and woodchip (for animal bedding). The barn needs a new roof, build new barns to accommodate animals in winter and store hay/feeds and restore a derelict cottage.... the list goes on and on!

There are a couple of caravans as accommodation for one or two people. A living/bedroom and a kitchen/dining/bathroom. Both have heating.

So, the main priorities are:
- processing trees into boards, firewood, kindling and bedding
- Fencing fields and paddocks
- Strimming rushes, brambles etc
- Build a barn
- Clear derelict cottage
- Start refurbishing cottage
- Planting an orchard

Help with any of these projects would be greatly appreciated. I am skilled in many aspects of farming, growing, woodwork, building, craft work, pottery, wood turning, have started cheese and yoghurt making from our own goats milk. If you have skills you can add to this list or wish to learn please contact me.
