We have wi-fi online link.

We are English (late 60's going on 35!). Languages: some rusty Spanish, even rustier French, very limited Greek and Bulgarian work in progress.

We have spent 2016 working on the garden and it is now largely landscaped but there is a long way to go yet. We have planted new trees and bushes around the garden and we want more this year. Loads of trees (cherry, apple, plum, peach, pear, apricot and hazelnut) have to be pruned annually.

There is much painting and varnishing to be done, inside and out; building, woodwork, bricklaying and fencing jobs to do.

We also have to make seating areas and raised beds, pathways to lay and tile, etc. We need to lay some decking. We aim to use wood from the pruning/cutting in projects around the place, e.g. carvings/sculptures/whatever!

We also need help with lots of areas of the garden requiring less skilled work, digging, weeding, planting and mowing the lawn.

If you are artistic, we would love to incorporate some of your ideas to turn our wasteland/orchard into a special garden with places of tranquility.

We have had lots of help in 2017 from a total of 10 volunteers of various nationalities. All in all, it has been a good and very enjoyable year.

We have 3 dogs who win the hearts of everyone they meet! We have 2 cats, also very friendly. We have 2 pet ducks.

We do not have TV. We love music and there is usually something playing. If you play an instrument and/or sing that would be great.

Ian is a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher so can give help and guidance with your English, if required.

Accommodation is in a separate building: two double/twin bedrooms (your own front doors}, each with en-suite toilet/shower; or a room in the main house.

We can accommodate vegetarians. Food is good, wholesome with multi-cultural roots.

We offer flexible hours - agreed between ourselves: 25 hrs per week.

We live in a small village with 2 shops/pubs. It is 4km from Dobrich, a town of 65,000 people; 30km from the sea, including either quiet beaches or lively resorts, - a bus ride away.

Help wanted from April - November 2018.
