The Yellow House in Sikns was originally the house where my grandfather grew up. It has been used only as a summerhouse for the last 2 generations, but now my partner Ronny and I are moving there permanently and are renovating the farm. The goal is to be as self-sufficient as possible. At the moment we have only rabbits, but in may we will acquire several hens, bees, and possibly goats. All animals will be used not only for food, but also for helping restore the landscape. Pastures need to be grazed to promote diversity. During the summer we will do several building projects such as a cold storage (jordkllare), polytunnel, restoring the barn, building a jetty in the lake, etc. My partner is going to work on building his own electrical car out of a Honda CRX.

Siknas is a small village (200 people 30 horses) north of Lule. It is situated by the sea, and it is a beautiful place to be in the summer. We will not be able to host until may, the winter is very harsh and we won't have any projects going until the snow melts.

Looking forward to hearing from you =)!
