2015 ((I'm leaving the old listing under this one so you can see where I've been and what I hope to be building in Tulsa OK.)) The new garden project is one block past the historic Brady district and a minutes walk to the the Downtown bars, clubs, and restaurants. Starting a garden community, building cabins, and all that goes with that. Looking for artist, gardeners, builders, and related interested individuals.
This will be urban homesteading, but for now it's just ruffing it in a city. Looking for people that want to learn and grow. The start of a 4 yr. project

((((((2 acre artisan garden....This is a small garden with lots of opportunities for hard work and fun. I'm looking for people with experience or the willingness to learn in a group setting. this garden is what you make of it. We'll be planting everything in the greenhouse in the next 2 weeks. then after the 4th of July be starting the second half of our season with lots to eat we are looking for people willing and with the know how to cook and finish a couple artisan structures in the garden. Grape arbor, greenhouse and pick way-n-wash station, and make our way into the canning season.

2012- season starts slow in March and will kick into full swing by May. We will have a venue next door offering kids shows, music on/off, and gallery space.

We need 2 full time garden people for the full season, 1-2 full time cooks/bakers, handy person for the season with a grape arbor to be finished and maybe one other structure to be built or moved. The other positions are open for interpretation with lots of pruning, canning, curing herbs for medicine and tea, and learning the healing arts, etc.

Most helpers are requires to work desk shifts from 8-12 and 4-10 and or clean shifts that last from 10/11 to 12/2 three times a week depending on need.

We have plans for farm to table this year. Along with events, so event planners, web designers, related skill would be helpful.

This will be my final season on this farm before I move on and help start or start another farm with a growing emphasis on farm to table, and community and culture.

I work with Mouna and the Abominable Snowmansion and their profile can also be found on Helpx.)))))

good luck
be well
