Helpers are needed to start in April/Sept...:)**

Hello from the beautiful Aran Islands! :)
We are looking for 1 helper to come and join us on the lovely Inis Mor for the months of FEBURARY and onwards. We'd like helpers to commit for a month, but they can stay on for as long as they want after following successful completion of a 2 week trial period.

We run a very busy hostel on the Aran Islands just off the West coast of Ireland near Galway. We're located on the biggest of the three islands,Inis Mor, about a 20-minute walk or 5-minute cycle from Kilronan village. It is an Irish speaking area steeped in tradition and culture so if you are interested to dive into that then you would fit in perfectly!

We're looking for people to help out with all aspects of running a hostel. We need bed makers, cleaners, house painters, kitchen hands, servers, etc. Expertise and experience with maintenance, carpentry and gardening is very welcome. Come with a big smile to fit in with the workers :)

Free bed and board (including delicious vegetarian dinners) provided in exchange for hard work, four hours a day, sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on what needs to be done. We have laundry facilities and wireless internet available for use.

We're accessible by two ferries -- one via Galway and one from Doolin, or by plane. The island is only 12km long and best explored by foot or bike. Inishmore is very beautiful; rugged coastal cliffs afford spectacular views of the Connemara mountains on the mainland on a clear day and the island is dotted with prehistoric monuments. Life here is simple; big-city living it's not. But the village has most everything you need: friendly locals, a library, a few cafes and restaurants, a grocery store, and a handful of pubs where you can enjoy a pint of Guinness and listen to live music.

Please call the hostel directly or email us here though this site.
