This is a 29 acre farm with mainly fruit trees, vegetables, vines and animals in a very beautiful natural park in the high mountains of the Sierra Nevada. Spectacular scenery and wildlife all around. Own dwelling offered in a little caravan or tent, hot shower, compost toilet,we do not provide meals. In return for two hours of help with all aspects of keeping the farm going - permaculture gardening: pruning, water management, making compost, gabions, drywall stacking, mulching, feeding chickens, rabbits & geese, fixing fences, painting, aceqia maintenance, harvesting, planting and many more interesting stuff.
Work varies according the time of the year. Magical place in a established food-forest. We are looking for someone with knowledge of gardening and someone who can cook his own meals. We prefer people with a PDC certificate or permaculture/organic gardening experience. A Permaculture couple would be perfect. We are currently rebuilding the communal house. We give priority to people with gardening skills for now.
