March 2019: Looking for s.o. sheep-enthusiastic for next lambing-season March / April. And s.o. for training sheepdogs. I`m drowning in work...........
Nov. 2018 : Have started to train the young dogs, quite talented little monsters, great fun!!
Oct.2018:we have just introduced the tups to the ewes. This year we use Bluefaced Leicester/ Texel crossbred rams. Lambing will start at mid of march 2019.
May 2018: we proudly welcome a litter of Border Collie pups out of one of our young bitches. Someone out there being keen, patient and capable on starting youngsters?
we again managed lambing, quite busy time, but happily ended. Still in need of having fences mended, Landrover repaired and clear up the lambing chaos.....Feb 2018: Hej folks, I`m looking for someone sheep-mad for next lambing-season March / April. Enthusiasm, sheep-/ dog-madness, mudresistance would be helpful ;-)
Oct 2017: too much rain, too much mud.... planning next year`s lambing time and in need of highly motivated helping hands in March / April 2018,.... and anytime if you like.........
Sept. 17: bought a nice Bluefaced Leicester ram for next tupping season; again some young wolves around......June 2017. Haylaging is finished,should be quite good quality as we were pretty lucky with the weather. Fencing and repairing the Landrover need to be done next....March 2017: first few ewes have lambed. A lot of work to be done now but luckily days are getting longer....

update August 2016: we`ve lost a ewe and two almost finished lambs due to wolf-attack, could need some help putting up wolf-proof fences.....having said that, I`m not quite sure if it is possible to create safe fences if you don`t run a zoo..........someone from Finland, Norge, Canada,.....out there with special knowledge about that?
update July 2016: have reduced the flock recently, had a quite successful lambing time, actual duties ;)) mending fences,wean / worm lambs, the Landrover Pick-up is very much in need of renovation, need to paint wooden window frames....., someone easy going + reliable out there??
Update Sep 2015: we are planning next year`s lambing time and are in need of someone who is highly motivated to help with lambing over a 4-6weeks period of time.Experience with lambing assistance/farming background would be helpful, but motivation and willing to learn are as valuable. If available earlier / longer, please, don`t hesitate to send a mail.
Update May 2015: someone out there capable of mending fences, worming and weaning lambs, helping with general farmwork, training sheepdogs, gardening, housework(??????) highly chaos-resistant??? just send me a mail, please! We have started to organise next year`s lambing time and are in need of highly motivated and capable assistence for lambing. The farm is run by a vet, so if your are interested in learning about farming and veterinary issues, feel free to contact me.

-good news in July 2013: the new sheepshed is almost finished, the lambs are doing quite well, have continued the young dog`s training...--
This is a small sheep-farm in the very North of Germany about half an hour by car from the Baltic Sea and the Danish border, home of our family ,the kids (9,12 and 14-yo)and me, roughly 100 Border Leicester Halfbred ewes, working dogs, Ponies, cats, ducks........ as you can see, there`s a lot of work to be done with the farm,housework,...We would be happy to host nice, friendly, enthusiastic helpers who are keen on working with animals, like children,are not afraid of mud and the daily chaos...... by the way, lambing starts in March, if you are enthusiastic about this, you are very welcome! Nov. 2012: two new Border Leicester rams have arrived on our farm, good news for our breeding program, and we welcome two little Border-Collie bitches, Swift and Gael. Thanks to Robert and Serge........
Jan.2013: Almost all ewes are at home in the sheds now, we are preparing for lambing which will start mid of march this year. We again got some snow the last days, even more work to do.....
Good news in June 2013:
finally we can start putting up the new sheepshed we`ve been waiting for so long ......, lambing has been quite challenging this year, but at the end of the day, we managed again......., the young dogs have started their training quite enthusiastic, I will add some photos soon ( hopefully ) still too busy at the moment, sorry for that. Managed to rent more grassland...
