Hi there, I have a very small, boutique Chestnut farm situated on the Mid-North Coast of NSW in a charming hinterland village called Elands ( home to beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes and rainforest bush walks)
From late February to early April our Chestnuts will be dropping and we'd love a hand in harvesting them, this we do twice a day for 2 hours. Other than Chestnuts we are always working on projects around the farm and would welcome people to help out with the animals, gardening, nannying, building, chainsawing, brushcutting, pruning, weeding, watering In return for your help we offer accommodation for 2, we have a lovely caravan with queen size bed and a single bed. Meals provided. Our little farm of 18 acres is very picturesque and the work quite simple, in the middle of the day when it's the hottest we swim in the river or lay around in the shade of the grand old trees and enjoy an afternoon breeze. In winter the northern aspect offers sunny days, crisp mornings and cosy nights.
If you think you'd like to visit our farm we'd love to hear from you.
We are about 1/2 way between Sydney and Gold Coast, Taree or Port Macquarie being our closest town to pick up from the train or the Greyhound bus if needed.
We look forward to meeting you.
** We currently have a full house of workers and won't be needing anyone until July 2019.
Sharyn, Faye and Sam.
