Good morning;
Like everyone else,I am worried about the virus going around and hope everyone is healthy. If you are still moving around,I sure could use some help.My home and our area are free of problems so far.I am willing to give everyone a chance.I am healthy and hope you are too.
I thought I should mention that while I was away the end of June 2019,a storm caused the power to be off for over 1 week. When I got home all food stuffs had to be tossed out.The complete contents of 2 fridges and 2 deep freezes had to be emptied and cleaned.
The sheep have started to lamb.13 lambs so far.3 ewes have not lambed yet.
I am looking for help anytime. Some help starting now would be great.
This year will be the garden, some cleaning up,fences and firewood, maybe some painting outside if time permits.A little at at time.
I know most people do not answer requests but I really hope you do.
This is a small hobby farm with several animals.A few sheep and 2 horses.I also have an Alpaca and several chickens.Don`t forget the dogs, bunny and outdoor cats.
I have no problem with changing eating habits.I am diabetic and have had vegetarians, vegans, lactose free, gluten free and nut free people. It`s just no problem.
The Wagon Train is in June every year and you are welcome to come with me.You have to be here 1 week early and have your paper work in order to go to the USA.
I live very close to Moose Jaw.
Just for interest--there is a winery right across the road at the you pick gardens.
In Moose Jaw,everything from a world class natural hot water spa to museums and our famous tunnels. If that is not enough,we are not far from Regina the capital of the province.
I enjoy Wagon Trains and trail rides as well as going to several rodeos and horse sales per year.
I grow a large garden and try to do it all by myself.
The little towns of Caron,Caronport and Mortlach are very close, as is Besant park. It is a lovely little green spot with water etc in the middle of the area.If you want more water, there is Buffalo Pound with fishing and swimming areas.
My yard is like a park with fruit trees and a gazebo.I do need help to keep it all up.
My home is large, but I only like 1,2,3 or 4 people here at a time.I also have a lovely, dead motor, motor home that doubles as an extra bedroom and will sleep 4.
I should also mention that for peoples convenience,if you are just traveling,I am also a B and B.I have met interesting people this way as well.
I hosted exchange students for 14 years and really enjoyed the experience.Several have come back for a visit.
1 thing I must state is that I do NOT allow SMOKING on my acreage, NO exceptions.Allergies.
I have had wonderful HELPXERS in 2013, 2014 and 2015,2016,2017,2018 and 2019.
Everyone has been a great help and have taught me so much. Anyone wanting a testimonial about my helpers just give me a call, wonderful people. There was 1 exception.Life goes on.
I would like to invite those interested in Saskatchewan to come for a stay. Please Come visit south central Sask.Short or long stay,it is up to you.
Have a great day.
