Hi everyone :)

The Solar Garden is now in the process of re-building The New Solar Garden in a new and much larger location after re-locating over the past few months.

Your help is ergantly needed!

You are welcome to contact me for details about our specific needs and to make sure we have available space.

Thanks and I hope to see you soon!

The Solar Garden is a sustainability educational visitor center located in the center of Binyamina, Israel. For the past 10 years (Since 2009) we've hosted thousands of visitors for learning about sustainability and green energy. The volunteer room has served as a home for hundreds of volunteers who came to participate in building and sustaining this inspiring place.

Basic everyday work includes cooking meals, keeping all spaces tidy and clean, weeding, planting, watering and maintanence. At the moment we are building geodesic domes, exhibits and lots and lots of green-walls! :)

We normally work Sun. to Thurs. 8:00-16:00, weekends are free unless we have a big project we need to get ready for in the following week.

We're conveniently located about 15 minutes walking distance from the train station or a short bus ride, the train to/from Binyamina runs 24 hours a day to Tel Aviv (30-40 min) and Ben Gurion Airport (53 min).

We provide basic groceries for cooking meals, take turns cooking and we eat together. Some food we grow in the garden.

We have many friends visiting and just dropping by to say hi. Sometimes we have jams, light up a bonfire, go to a nearby spring or drive to the beach for a swim. There's lots of hiking/biking in the area.

I hope to see you joining our crew! :)
