HELLO and welcome to beautiful South Gippsland.
I`m looking for TWO people to HELPX here for at least two weeks from around mid May.
Full accommodation will be provided per seven nights in exchange for four hours work daily for 6 days with one day off. As well as taking in turns to cook the evening meal. Self-service breakfast and lunch.

I am looking for people to do some indigenous tree planting and general house/garden maintenance- digging and preparing ground for planting vegetables. The work will be mainly outside. If you have any specific skills I am sure I could use them!

The accommodation consists of a bedroom with a double bed. There is one bicycle available.

Under a two hour drive from Melbourne, Meeniyan is situated south-east of Melbourne, or 2.5 hours by bus via Leongatha from the Southern Cross Bus Station in Melbourne.

Spend some days exploring hidden treasures of the rolling hills and coastline of South Gippsland.
Meeniyan is set in the foothills of the Strzelecki Ranges-Great Dividing Range. There is a strong arts community, walking, horse riding and cycling (Great Southern Rail Trial). Go to if you are interested to learn about the area.
From Meeniyan, drives of 15 to 25 minutes leads you to magnificent beaches such as Inverloch, Walkerville and Sandy Point. With a 30 minute drive to the entrance of Wilsons Promontory National Park, the most southern extremity of mainland Australia.
My home is set on 2.5 acres. There is much wildlife in the garden, including a wide variety of birds. Koalas visit regularly. The property is registered as `Land for Wildlife`. The house is a 10 minute walk on a dirt road into the village.Free wi-fi in Meeniyan. I have two cats.
