Accommodation becoming available during Spring time, October or November 2013. Non smokers only please.
Our property is on the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge within walking distance of picturesque and pristine Hamelin Bay. We are 4 hours south of Perth and Albany is 4 1/2 hours to the east. We are close to Cape Leeuwin on the south west tip of WA.
Tasks could include: gardening, tidying up of grounds, cooking, cleaning, general handy person, building maintenance and improvement (depending on your skills). If you are joining the family for meals, cooking and help with cleaning up after meals is expected.
Option One: 4 hours work per day in exchange for meals and accommodation with shared toilet and bathroom. Cooking is part of the work scheduled.
Option Two: 2 hours work per day in exchange for self contained accommodation with shared toilet and bathroom facilities.
Weekly stays preferred with option to extend. Weekly hours can be worked over 2 or 4 days (depending on Option) to give days off to explore the numerous local attractions. We are close to local caves, fishing, swimming and surfing. Margaret River wineries and cafes are half an hour north and it is only 15 minutes south to the peaceful town of Augusta.
Own transport is preferred but not essential. Transport to local bus stop is available and we have bikes available for use during your stay. Trips to town are available from time to time, usually once a week.
We look forward to hearing from people wishing for a tranquil stay amongst the karri trees while they explore this beautiful area.
