We are a fairly new English speaking based project in Andalucia, southern Spain. Together with friends and volunteer helpers here, I like to think of ourselves as nature lovers. There is 3 acres of land on which we aim to create a self sufficient garden and share some knowledge and skills about the benefits of living foods, growing fresh organic veggies and fruit and sharing and learning more about holistic health and wellbeing.

The land has a small house, space for tents and a yurt and a river at the bottom of the plot. There are fruit and nut trees and lovely views of the surrounding hills and countryside of orange and olive groves. As you can imagine we are in a rural and fairly remote location. A lovely place to get away from it all and find some peace and quiet.

In exchange for work, 5 hours a day 5 to 6 days a week, we offer to loan you a tent and comfortable mattress and provide 2 meals a day. There is also a shared bunk room in the house which is available for 2 people on a first come first served basis.

I am particularly looking for help to build a new sustainable structure to house the dry system compost toilets and for help with house repairs or for someone who has experience of garden irrigation systems or stone step building. Help is also required in the garden and in the outdoor kitchen preparing meals.

We eat vegan and mostly raw food and we invite you to also. In respect for the land and the other people who stay here we also expect you to be a non-smoker and to refrain from drinking alcohol while you are here.

We are about 60 km from Malaga airport and it is fairly easy to get a train/bus to Coin, the nearest town and we can pick you up from there.

We are looking for volunteers to help from October onwards. It is preferred that you stay for a minimum of 3 weeks so that, we have a chance to get to know you and you also have the time to get used to our ways and how things work here.

The project is CLOSED TO VOLUNTEERS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST due to the extremely hot weather. We are sorry, if you send a message between 28th July and 28th August you will not receive a reply until the 1st September at the earliest.

Internet access can sometimes be intermittent as we have solar power/no mains electricity. Please be patient if replies take longer than usual.
