Welcome to one of the most diverse farms in the province! Situated in the mainland of Nova Scotia, and close to the city of Halifax, sits a 9th generation family run farm.

We have realized that in order for our farm to grow along side our 9th generation, we need to diversify into new business ventures to support our family. One of the main areas our farm has diversified in recent years has been with Eco-tourism. Since 2011, our farm has hosted Mountain Biking and Obstacle Adventure Events, plus a running a Haunted Corn Maze, see website links above.

The majority of the help we need on our farm is with growing our Eco tourism Adventure events. There is a lot of work that goes into these events and on any given day, you could be helping to build wild obstacles, clearing new Mountain bike trails, making promotional event videos, searching for supplies, designing new obstacles, scaring people in a Haunted Corn maze, preparing event grounds, or taking part in an event! Along with running events, we also grow 100% organic gardens and wild blueberry crops. We guarantee your experience at Courthouse Hill Farms will be nothing short of unique and certainly an adventure! Also, the Woofers who has stayed with us have not only had a great time, but they have learned a lot in the process.

We consider ourselves a cultured family. Between my close family, we've travelled to 6 continents, over 50 countries and have had the pleasure of living with farm families abroad in China, New Zealand and Australia. We are a fairly young crowd around here too. My brothers, and cousins, are athletic, outgoing, socialable, trustworthy, and an all around fun group. We work hard, but we make sure to enjoy ourselves each and every day! Oh, we also eat well to grow most of our food.

If you are up for an adventure and are looking for a unique woofing experience, then send us a message and tell us about yourself, we would love to hear from you. Take care, have fun and welcome to Nova Scotia! It's a beautiful province!

P.S, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
