ARE YOU IN ALIGNMENT?: Who understands permaculture, gardening, loves working with their hands and heart, and has a mindful spiritual practice that honors nature, animals and people? This is smoking, drinking, drugging free zone. Not that they are free, we just don't use them. Highly spiritual space and honoring all paths that have expanded in a Universal oneness. Yet we also do target practice with guns, so must be okay with a little noise once in a while.

THE CREATION: My mission is to create a small community and spiritual retreat for education and for people to connect with nature and heal. We will eventually have organic gardens, fruit trees (if I only knew were to plant them), grapes, a meditation temple, alternative buildings like cob, a community kitchen, music and art spaces to create. The goal is to provide educational seminars on homesteading and healing. Do you have a skill to share and teach that can bring in funding? We have events and gatherings like tree climbs, work days, drum and music circles and potluck days on the Land.

THE SETTING: The Land is 70 acres mostly wooded and private. It has a great feel with a 2.5 acre lake with fish, wet weather creek, spring and a tree house I have not finished. There are 10 building (all need rehab) that were once part of retreat back in the 60's and left abandoned for 20 years. What was I thinking? I uncovered them (3 need to come down and reuse materials) and there are many tasks at hand to accomplish. The Land has a Native American energy that we seek to honor. Sometimes projects alter midstream when we listen and tune into the Land.

We now have 30 chickens/roosters, a humorous dwarf Nigerian goat Lily (all need to be contained so I can begin my square ft. gardening project), 2 dogs that work the farm and Petunia the inside Yorkie Poo.

THE VISIONARY: The visionary in me has tackled more than one person might accomplish in 327 years. I am open to a sacred circle of co-creators. I moved here full time in March, 2014. I am a water garden and landscape designer, coach, writer and photographer. All right brained skills. I am 53, divorced and following my passion and the vision that came in '02 for my life purpose. In Myer's Briggs I am an ENFP = high creativity low focus and completion. I have discovered that testosterone gets more done than estrogen. Men have that special gift of strength and focused completion. Obviously women have this also, so open to whomever feels called. I have tools, ideas and love to co-create and work as a team. So if you are strong in mind, body and Spirit that is a blessing. I do healing work so often have individuals or groups here for that purpose. Holding a space of love is important so that people feel safe and relaxed to heal.

THE PROVISIONS: Tent camping is preferred unless you like sleeping in an abandoned building or one under rehab. Meals are on your own unless I am here and available. I never eat consistently. Do you like to cook? You will have access to a kitchen area and shower. We have a Johnny and indoor plumbing depending on who is staying in the main house under rehab.

HOW YOU MAY HELP: Tasks would be eclectic and include wood cutting (are you good with a chainsaw?), gardening, carpentry, plumbing, electric, drywall, painting, path clearing, brush hogging, mowing, schlepping, cleaning, taking down buildings, animal feeding and barn cleaning and whatever is up for the week. Bermuda, my Kubota tractor makes many tasks easier. 25 hours a week more based on task or what events are happening than time. Do you know anything about writing grants or setting up a 501(C)3? Must have your own insurance as we don't have any yet.

LOCATION: We are about an hour outside St. Louis, Missouri and about 30 minutes from St. Clair or Fenton. It is 7 miles to the closest gas station and dollar store.

LET'S CONNECT: Feel free to email me with your situation and what would be a perfect world for you to create. I believe in a win win situation where there are mutual blessings. I am certainly open to help with any language learning as well.
