NOTE: Need serious helpers this winter and spring, Offering internships for the right people . Projects include : large scale veg production, fencing, building, grass cutting maintaince, animal husbandry. We are an organic farm, 26km from Murgon in Queensland. We have a holistic approach to farming with Permacultural/ system approach organic practices.
We grow cattle, vegetables, olives, sheep and free range pigs plus other useful things to eat and use. Look at our website. Not big but plenty of pics.

Our family is Wil(50), Megan(50), Kenelm (25) and Amanda (24) . Kenelm and Amanda are on farm most days. Wil and Megan work off farm some or most week days. Megan on farm in Winter and Spring .
Permaculture is a big part of our lives both in practice and philosophy.Influences include Mollison and Holmgren, Joel Salatin, Aldo Leopold, Deep Ecology Movement andHolistic Management to name a few. Looking for people to stay minimum of one week and work around 4 hours/day for food and accommodation in a caravan or in our house. 80% of our food comes from our place over the year and is therefore a large part of our lives. This is largely dependent upon weather though.

We are not far from interesting things being 2 comfortable hours from Hervey Bay and Noosa Beaches and have many National Parks. Our place is very relaxing and quite with swimming holes and very pleasant bush walks through unique dry scrub rainforest. Get in touch with nature again.

We like to view visiting people as our family; working with us rather than for us.
Work includes gardening, working with animals, building and general chores. We suit the work to interest and ability. Bring your skills please! Really interested in anyone who wants intern experience with Permaculture

We prefer people seriously interested in learning, and must have a sense of humour. We are not a backpackers and in this for the cultural exchange not to use people! Strictly non smoking. Meals are mixed. We don't do drugs and only infrequently drink alcohol.

Need serious people who are hard workers and experienced or learners for the period from April to October. Good organic food ... lots of fantastic scenery and peace and quiet.
