We are an off grid yoga, meditation and ecological Center in Pahoa, Hawaii. We host spiritual retreats from all over the world and also operate as a Bed and Breakfast when we are not hosting groups. We rely on solar power for our energy (we have a generator for cloudy days) and rainwater (100% safely filtered) for drinking.

This is an incredible place on ten acres of organic fruit trees with views of the ocean and a wonderful place for inner and outer peace. We support individual, couples and group retreats from a variety of cultures and beliefs with the intent of supporting and helping others develop their own path.

You will be sleeping most likely in a cabin shared with one other volunteer with comfortable beds, fresh towels and bedding. There is free high speed satellite internet available, hot showers, flush toilets and shared fully equipped kitchen. You will be responsible for your own medical insurance. We offer daily yoga and meditation for our guests which is free for our staff.

You will be required to help 25 hours a week in exchange for a comfortable bed in one of our hand built cabins. Access to our yoga studio with certified instruction. Full use of our meditation pavilion and library of spiritual literature. Wi-Fi, hot showers, laundry facility, bicycles, snorkel gear, surfboards, and musical instruments. Full access to our 10 acre fruit and vegetable gardens. Weekly trips to the markets, local pot lucks and community parties. We are currently offering 3 organic mostly vegan meals a day prepared by incredibly talented chefs.

We are looking for people who have a daily yoga or meditation practice and wish to support their practice with selfless service - volunteering for the right reasons. Our mission is to provide a positive uplifting environment and to support all inner work. Our volunteers see selfless service as an integral part of going deeper into their practice and do it with a meditative mindset. Finally, we are looking for strict vegetarians, as we do not allow meat, fish or eggs on our property.

We have a variety of tasks to be done around our campus and we require everyone who comes to help be part of our team willing to help with any of our tasks.

*Housekeeping

Primary responsibilities include cleaning cabins, bathrooms, shared spaces, and doing laundry.

*Gardening / Landscaping

Primary responsibilities include fruit picking, vegetable harvesting, weeding, composting, greenhouse
maintenance, and landscaping activities.

*Yoga Instructor

Primary responsibilities include leading daily (am or pm) sessions for our staff and guests, keeping our Yoga Hale clean, maintaining our props, and occasionally assisting with yoga instructor workshops.

*Maintenance

Primary responsibilities include tending to our solar system, water catchment system, septic
system, and generator, as well as maintaining the tool shed, machines, and support the grounds
overall.

Do you have any skills that you think would complement our mission? are you a healer? musician? artist? masseuse?
We encourage your individual creativity!

We offer screened in cabins that you will share with one other person.Everyone here has very comfortable accommodations.

We have hot and cold water, two community kitchens, good internet service and flush toilets. We have a partial jungle setting and you will hear the sounds and see the critters that go along with that. Mainly beautiful geckos, harmless spiders, wild pigs, birds and frogs who sing us to sleep every night.

You will have unlimited access to over 30 different fruit trees including Mango, coconut, papaya, banana, jackfruit, breadfruit, cacao, figs, sapote, pineapple, avocado, just to name a few.

We look forward to meeting you!

Aloha
