We are running a small hotel in Cirali / Antalya and dealing with eco-tourism and organic farming since 2005. Our small hotel consists of 6 houses and a restaurant. We have been Hosting volunteers since 2013, thanks to the volunteering system, we met many nice people and we`ve learned many things from them.
When and where we need help:
The season for tourism starts from March till the end of October. In our guesthouse, we need help in the restaurant. Help consists of setting up tables, serving (communication with our guests), cleaning and if possible, cooking (We will be happy to teach to cook some Turkish dishes).
At what time we are busy:
We expect from our volunteers to be in the restaurant from 07:45 till 11:00, at dinner also we ask for help, dinners generally starts from 19:00 and ends around 21:00. We do expect from volunteers to help us 5-6 working hours in a day. A day off could be arranged every week, whenever you need it, please do not hesitate to ask.
Help in the garden and more professional assistance:
During off season, we are looking for help with fruit picking in our organic garden.
Assistance in organic farming, cheese making, photography, web design and marketing sounds very interesting for us as well as private English or German lessons.
What we offer in exchange to your help:
In exchange we do provide food and a small wooden house for volunteers with an A/C, we could gladly teach to cook traditional Turkish dishes, we do have a weaving studio and its open to anyone who is interested in weaving, I may teach Turkish and I can gladly show you surrounding places. We do have bikes and you may use them as well.
About our village:
Cirali is a very quite and peaceful place. It`s located near the Mediterranean sea on a long tracking route called Lycian way. We don`t have mass tourism in here, there aren`t any big hotels, organic farming is popular besides tourism. Also, from the mid July till the first weeks of September, its possible to observe baby sea turtles on the beach. If you like to be in nature and near the sea, you may love Cirali.
